Event Manager ( Jazz International Music Festival)
5-month contract
Samui Jazz Festival 2010
Base in Koh Samui
Samui Jazz Festival www.samuijazz.com, organized by AMsiam Travel Co., Ltd. www.amsiam.com, is now seeking for professionals to work for the international project Samui-Dutch Jazz Festival. This project will be held in Koh Samui, October 2010.
Job Descriptions:
1.Plan, manage, and organize the concert event from conception through completion.
2.Thoroughly oversee the project’s operations.
3.Coordinate with cross-sectional departments (Sales, Marketing Communications, etc.) to ascertain project achievement.
4.Must have a fair knowledge in organizing an event.
5.Pursue abilities to monitor and control budgets and to source finances of the project.
6.Demonstrates professional attitudes at all times.
7.Evaluates post-event and addressing areas for improvements where is possible.
Skills required:
1.High English language proficiency
2.Able to work independently, possess pleasant personality and confidence.
3.Able to drive with license
Primary Qualifications:
1.Thais or foreigners are welcomed to apply
2.Bachelor’s degree or higher in any corresponding fields (Event, Marketing Communications, Business, etc.)
3.Relevant work experience in Event Management is REQUIRED
4.Able to start work immediately
Condition of employment:
1.5-month contract (June-October, 2010) for the special project Samui Jazz Festival.
2.Base in Koh Samui
